Fitted with a powerful Intel i5 central microprocessor, 4GB of memory, and a huge 2TB data hard disk this is an ideal Media Centre for you, if you do not use network storage devices, such as the AVA Media RS5. If you already have an AVA Media RS server, you can choose the Model A- (which does not have the 2TB HDD installed) and save recorded TV and play it back from the RS server.
Performance is enhanced with the totally silent 64GB solid state primary hard disk. When not in use the large 2TB storage disk will go to sleep - this means the ixVL Model A will then be totally silent.
With a slot loading BluRay / DVD /CD reader built in you can enjoy all current media formats, including HD DVD Audio (24bit) tracks. The embedded decoders not only ensure that almost ALL audio and video formats can be played, they also ensure that encrypted HD Audio tracks can be played to the SPDIF Audio output.
With two Standard Definition (SD) DVB-T (Freeview) tuners and two SD / HD DVB-S /S2 (FreeSAT) tuners you will never be short of programmes to record or watch (that's right, you can watch one TV programme and record 3 others). You can even record 2 High Definition FreeSAT channels at the same time.
All the connections are there to ensure you can connect to your new HD TV, or HiFi system with confidence. This Intel powered system has been designed especially for the Audio / Video market.
With the discrete front display panel you'll know what's going on in the world (new feeds) should you want to or what the ixVL may be recording whilst your watching another programme. You can even set the display to let you know if you've just received an new email. It's all easy to set up, just the way you want it.
